“ Finally got an opportunity to stop in and try them out. They definitely got our Cajun stamp of approval. We thought these were just amazing!! The gumbo empanada is definitely New Orleans style which was no surprise, but there is a difference from southwestern Louisiana gumbo for those wondering how they are. The etouffe and pork dumpling flavors were just so delicious!!! We will definitely be back!! ”

The staff were very friendly and the food was even better. We tried the pizza pepperoni, mushroom and cheese, Chilean beef and the ham n queso. All were very flavorful and made fresh to order. “ Best gumbo on the MS Gulf Coast, hands down. REAL gumbo, with chicken and sausage, the correct way. Not that weird seafood gumbo that’s everywhere here. Love this place. A bit pricey, so can’t go as often as I’d like. But it’s good and different than other places, so worth it to go when we can. Cute shop, haven’t had everything here so can’t speak on it all, but the empanadas and gumbo/soups are great. Definitely give it a try. ”
“ I love being able to stop in and walk out with delicious dinner for my family a few minutes later! We ALWAYS receive excellent, friendly service from the folks here. The empanadas are tasty! Our family's favorite is the Asian dumpling flavor. I also enjoy the mushroom and cheese and the yellow curry. Very tasty! My teen enjoys the pizza pepperoni and the buffalo chicken. For our family, 2 empanadas per person leaves enough room for dessert. Today, though, I want to say that their chocolate overload cake is AMAZING! I am VERY picky about cake. The crumb is incredibly tender and the flavor is so smooth and fully chocolate. The frosting/filling is light in texture but full of chocolate flavor while being perfectly balanced...just enough sweetness and not too dark. The thin chocolate pieces on the edge are a textural delight! Stop in for the empanadas, but definitely don't skip dessert here! ”
